Students doing Plumbing

Students in hazmat suitsWe are incredibly proud of the students in Mr. Bailes' CTE Construction class who recently put their skills to work by helping repair a water leak in Mrs. Agee's classroom. Instead of just learning from textbooks, these students stepped up, diagnosed the problem, and gained valuable hands-on experience while helping improve our school.

This is what Career and Technical Education is all about: developing real-world skills, solving real problems, and preparing students for future careers. Through opportunities like this, students learn teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility, and practical trade skills that will benefit them long after graduation.

A huge thank you to Mr. Bailes for providing meaningful learning experiences and to these hardworking students for their willingness to serve our school community. We love seeing our students apply what they are learning in the classroom to make a difference right here at Greenbrier West!

👏 Great job, gentlemen! Your hard work and dedication are making us #WestProud!
