carpentry

Students in Mr. Bailes’s carpentry class are putting their skills to work in a big way this semester — by completely redoing the school’s football locker room. The class has taken on the ambitious project as part of a hands-on learning initiative, turning blueprints into real improvements for the athletics department.

The students are building brand-new custom lockers from scratch, designed to give players more space and better organization for their gear. It’s been a great opportunity for the class to apply what we’ve been learning. They’re not just building; they’re problem-solving, planning, and learning how to work together as a crew.
